For over 30 years Parterre has been transforming both indoor and outdoor spaces into unique and inspiring oases. Parterre has established itself as a recognised leader in landscape design, revered for its avante-guard introduction of classic provencal to modern Australian settings. Our designs champion balance and function, accented with rare architectural objet sourced from all over Europe.

Set in the Royal National Park on the water this project incorporated natural timbers in our design casual plantings of Rhaphis, Citrus and a water pond using an 18th century Chinese cast iron lotus bowl.

Interiors are relaxed and casual with a eclectic mix of furniture and fabrics. This small cottage located in Paddington was completely gutted. The front, facing south was planted with Camellia japonicas, a sea of dwarf Mini Mondo and large sandstone stepping stones used to give a feeling of space and width to the narrow frontage. Located in the Hawkesbury Valley this 's house was completely gutted internally and transformed into a rustic rural property.

Working with the client we located reclaimed timbers from Australian wool stores. Posts were re milled, floorboards re sized and wire brushed to provide a rustic ambiance. Over a year we located key pieces in Europe for the interior such as a 4 metre 19th century florist table and various pieces of industrial furniture.

Large 25 year old Japanese Maples and Gleditsias were brought to site and planted using cranes. The exterior areas were landscaped using both recycled bricks and local sandstone with a combination of native Grevilleas Lilli Pillis and some traditional planting such as a rustic pergola covered in Wisteria. We welcome projects of any size, from terraces and courtyards, to rural properties and acreage. Our consultancy offerings include, but are not exclusive to: - Spatial environmental planning - Formulation of custom design concepts - Engagement of, and collaboration with, appropriate trades - Horticultural consultation - Sourcing and placement of architectural elements, furniture specialising high end contemporary European design , art and objet.

Rural Landscaping Company is design and construct landscaping contractor located in the historic timber town of Jarrahdale. What separates a rural landscape from a city yard is scale. We move to the country for open vistas, views, lots of trees, native animals, and space for you to pursue your hobbies and business. We seek to embrace nature, work with it, invite the birds and bees to our gardens, let our dogs run, and tend our livestock over the back fence.
